The crew of INFINITY arrive MEXICO safely at 1800, Nov 4th, 2013.

The arrival marks a feeling of accomplishment for us, being Country No. 002, and the beginning of the FUBAR 2013 Rally!

We arrived at Cruiseport Marina, Ensenada, and were taken care of by Jonathan Cervantes, the Marina Manager.  Jonathan handled all our Visa’s, taxes, & Customs paperwork for a modest fee.  I found him to be extremely efficient and a pretty-good guy too!  Perhaps we’ll see you one day again Amigo.

We got lucky, and were given a slip assignment next to Nordhavn 62 – Anna Mae.

While in Ensensada, we took a walk around the town and popped in to see Tomas Fernandez (Baja Naval Boatyard founder, and N62 owner of ‘Alamir’).   Yes, it’s all about the N62 on this website  ;  )    Unfortunately, Tomas was in La Paz with his boat at the time.  Perhaps another time Tomas?

Walking around, we found the town had a good vibe to it.  I wish we had more time to explore.

FUBAR RALLY here we come!    The Fubar will take us to TURTLE BAY,  MAG BAY,  SAN HOSE DEL CABO,  &  LA PAZ.

The first two stops are anchorages and the last two are dock-ties.  Sounds great, we’re looking forward to it!  :  )
